    Essential fatty acids (EFAs) are crucial to building and maintaining healthy skin from the cell membranes to the natural oil barrier. The right balance of omega-6/omega-3 oils applied topically will help prevent inflammation.

    Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), a special type of omega-3, prevents wrinkles by blocking UV- induced enzymes that destroy collagen. Spectra tests on PROTECTIVE DAY OIL show high levels of UV protection in the long wavelength, UVA range, probably due to its high carotenoid content.

    Recommended use

    Shake well. Dispense approximately 1/2 dropper and warm between palms. Smooth over face/neck/chest, avoiding eye contour area. We recommend wearing our ColorFree Zinc Sunscreen SPF 32 or Everyday Coverage Tinted Sunscreen SPF30 as your final daytime step, rain or shine. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.

      Daily protective oil review

      First and foremost - please never stop, MV. I would wither without your products. I used to use the Treatment Oil for my daily oil, but recently took your quiz to see what products I may be missing out on. The Protective Day Oil was recommended. I looooove it. It reminds me a bit of the Treatment Oil. It has the smell and consistency that I love. It makes me SO happy every time I apply it - I feel like I usually make some type of noise or statement out loud because I'm enjoying it so much. Will def be purchasing this regularly.

      Lovely

      The protective day oil was provided as a sample on a previous order. It became my favorite oil right away! Great texture, scent, absorption. I love the way it felt in my face. I love the way it looked on my face. Though I rarely wear a foundation, I do wear a tinted sunscreen and the two layered together perfectly. Thank you for the sample! I’m a convert!
