    Decongest with EFAs, inhibit pathogens with TEA TREE OIL.

    Oils clear congestion much more effectively than other exfoliation methods because oils dissolve oils, and they penetrate deeply to break up blockages other ingredients can't reach. Omega-6 oils relieve that greasy feel by thinning sebum, and Omega-3 oils control inflammation.

    Antiseptic effects of tea tree oil are on a par with benzoyl peroxide.

    Ingredients

    ARGAN OIL — rich in omega-6s and 9s, vitamin E, carotenes, squalene, and phenols, and has a remarkable ability to nourish, moisturize and improve skin elasticity. It also helps control surface sebum, thus eliminating that greasy look.

    BORAGE OIL — high in GLAs (gamma-linolenic acid), which makes it instrumental in controlling one of the primary contributors to acne, namely, inflammation. Because borage oil also regulates water loss, it is excellent for treating adult acne.

    TEA TREE OIL — tests show that tea tree oil is as effective as benzoyl peroxide in combating P. acnes, the major acne-causing microbe. Better yet, it has none of the downside risks associated with BP, like sun sensitization and increased skin sensitivity.

    WILLOW BARK — contains salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid that clears clogged pores by dissolving skin protein from the outside in. Our most effective acne-fighter.

    Recommended use

    Shake well. Dispense approximately 1/2 dropper and warm between palms. Smooth over face/neck/chest, avoiding eye contour area. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light.

      A Must-Try for Congestion

      I’ve been using this oil (after barrier repair serum / before age-delay emulsion) for about five weeks and have seen a dramatic improvement overall, but especially in most congested areas. For me, the worst spot has always been my chin, but this new regiment (as noted above) kickstarted a massive purge - which, is not a fun process for a few weeks, but SO worth it! Finally eradicating the little plugs that my skin has been harboring for who knows how long. Would highly recommend if you’re ready to shed those pesky blackheads.

      Best oil for my skin type

      I have very sensitive rosacea-prone skin. When I do not use this oil, my skin gets bumpy. It also smells and feels great on my skin.

      Seemed to make breakouts worse, also sometimes a slight itch it gave

      Still unsure

      I’ve only been using this for a week with the adult acne bundle. My skin feels irritated, and I assume it is from the essential oil since the retinol is more gentle than the previous one I was using and none of my other skin care has fragrance or essential oil. I hope that MV comes out with a NAFE safe version.
