    Biofilms are protective shields formed by pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus. Their formation can contribute to chronic or recurring skin issues, as these pathogens thrive in the biofilm environment and can resist standard treatments.     Recommended use

    Shake well. Saturate cotton pad and swipe over affected areas of the face and neck, avoiding eye contour area. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.

      More than a tonic

      Despite a couple of reviews saying this tonic irritated their skin, my skin loves it. There’s definitely something a little different about it but I think it’s just a tad heavier than most traditional tonics. It’s helping the redness around my nose and mouth so I’m happy!

      Perioral dermatitis

      This has been really helping! It calmed down a PD flare I was having and has continued to help my skin feel super hydrated without loading on thick layers of a product that would just make my PD flare. I follow up with one pump of the Barrier Restore Serum and the 4-5 drops of the Barrier Lipid Complex. Often I’ll use a very small amount of the new face emulsion on top, and then spf during the day. I do the same thing at night and my skin is dewy and glows without looking amphibious, which seems to be the newest trend. I highly recommend this!

      Healing

      I’ve been struggling with Rosacea, occasional hormonal acne, and severe dryness. The Rescue Tonic has been extremely helpful with quieting down the redness and rosacea flareups. It leaves a bit of a protective film as well that I like, and makes it a good base for the soothing B3 serum to follow. Highly recommend if you’re struggling with temperamental menopausal skin.

      Great toner!

      It feels like replenishing your skin after cleansing with all the good things the barrier needs. I pair it with Refining Cleanser and I feel my skin seems brighter. Wonderful baselayer for the rest of the routine. I do wish there was a pump, dropper or some cap with a hole to balance how much product is used. MV products are expensive and I'd like to be efficient with it and these bottles with no regulator can be tricky.

      Rescue tonic works!

      I have sensitive, red, combo, aging, dehydrated skin. I used it for one month and noticed a difference. My skin was less red and more hydrated.
