Ingredients

NON-NANO ZINC OXIDE (17%) — A physical (mineral) sunscreen that provides broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Helps prevent sunburn and related signs of skin aging.

TURMERIC & GINGER — Both have potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and skin-brightening properties. They work to help calm redness and promote even skin tone so skin looks and feels radiant and soothed.

SODIUM HYALURONATE — This powerful form of hyaluronic acid draws moisture into the skin, keeping it deeply hydrated and plump. Helps skin feel moisturized and comfortable all day, unlike many other mineral sunscreens that have a drying effect.

CARNOSINE — A dipeptide with antioxidant properties that helps prevent photoaging, inflammation, and redness from free radicals and UVB rays.

SPIRULINA MAXIMA EXTRACT — This algae extract performs a dual function, acting as a free radical scavenger and shielding skin from the damaging effects of blue light. It also contains the potent enzyme photolyase, which helps repair UV damage through photoreactivation. This, in turn, helps prevent cellular damage from CPDs.

Recommended use

Apply every morning. Use liberally on face / neck / chest 15 minutes before sun exposure. Blend evenly into skin (note: may take 1-2 minutes to absorb / become colorless). For best application, layer over serum(s) + oil as the last step of your AM regimen. Water resistant for up to 40 minutes. Reapply at least every 2 hours, more often when swimming or sweating.

Note on Opening: For best results, upon initial opening, hold the tube upright and use the back of the cap to puncture the seal. Holding the tube in an upright position helps regulate pressure to better control the amount of product dispersed.

SUN PROTECTION MEASURES

Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease risk, regularly use a Broad Spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:

• Limit time in the sun, especially from 10am-2pm

• Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses

Sunscreen of the Year!
If you’re looking for a sunscreen that is fragrance-free and packed with skin-nourishing ingredients… Look no further! It goes on white at first (as expected with zinc), but after a minute or two it blends in really well—no weird white cast or greasy residue especially on melanated skin!

Love It!
I was so excited when this came out as I use all KH/MV products and am also on the hunt for a good facial sunscreen. My skin is so reactive, and I have had a hard time finding a mineral sunscreen that works. To be honest, the first couple of times I used it, I was unsure. I actually switched back to my other sunscreen for a couple weeks and then tried it again. And then after a couple more times and a little experimentation, I fell head over heels and haven't stopped using it since. Since it's hot and humid here, I have been using it after the tonic and barrier restore serum. I will layer in the oil once the humidity dies down since I usually use the barrier lipid oil daily, but the sunscreen is providing great moisture and a lovely glow. I have tried countless sunscreen products and have very sensitive skin, and this is the very best facial sunscreen out there.

I've been using Marie Veronique products for years, I am a fan and felt I had to report an unpleasant issue with the Colorfree sunscreen. When applying it feels grainy not smooth despite the formula having a thick consistency, I've come to kind of dread putting it on. I have not tested the sunscreen by wearing for prolonged or intense sun exposure so cannot remark upon the effectiveness of the Colorfree sunscreen, I just hope it is protective and moisturizing for my very fair skin.

Amazing!!
I love this sunscreen! I'm so happy I now have a sunscreen that doesn't dry my skin out. Other sunscreens I've used leave my skin dry a few hours after application and they highlight all of my wrinkles. This keeps my skin protected and moisturized. This is going to be my new daily sunscreen. Thanks for making this amazing product! I was already a Marie Veronique fan but now I'm a super fan!!

Finally!
I have tried so many zinc sunscreens but felt awkward wearing them out in public as they left a white cast, would go on very greasy and finally flake off.
The colorfree MV sunscreen has none of that! It goes on smoothly, feels moisturising and leaves a subtle glow. Most importantly it is the only non-nano mineral sunscreen that I could reapply without the fear of botchy flaky residue building up. ( sorry but this was also my experience with the MV tinted sunscreen…)
Finally I can move on from chemical sunscreens…
My only question is what is a good way of removing it at the end of the day? I notice after the MV cleansing oil I still have a bit of a tacky layer on my skin….
