    DETAILS

Senolytic Balm melts into skin with a rich, lipid-dense texture that envelops dry, mature, and aging skin in immediate comfort, leaving it deeply replenished, plump, and luminous. Applied as the final step in your skincare regimen, its' nutrient-rich formula delivers intensive nourishment while sealing in preceding steps. By reinforcing the skin barrier and reducing transepidermal water loss, it helps retain essential moisture and preserve the efficacy of your regimen. Rich and restorative on the surface, the balm delivers sophisticated age-delay science underneath.

The formula takes a senotherapeutic approach to cellular senescence, a hallmark of aging, with the senoyltic ingredient Fisetin. Senescent cells are aging or stressed cells that have stopped dividing but remain active, releasing signals that can contribute to inflammation and visible signs of aging.

Antioxidants help support collagen synthesis and defend against oxidative stress. Barrier-supportive lipids further replenish dry, depleted skin and support lasting moisture. With continued use, skin feels deeply nourished, resilient, and luminous.

    Fisetin, a Senolytic
A naturally occurring flavonoid found in fruits and vegetables, fisetin acts as a senolytic compound, helping to support cellular longevity by reducing the accumulation of aged, stressed cells. Fisetin helps protect against oxidative stress, support healthy cellular turnover, and maintain resilience.

    Resveratrol
A powerful polyphenol derived from Japanese knotweed, resveratrol is a potent antioxidant that protects skin from environmental stressors and free radical damage. It helps soothe inflammation, support collagen production, and improve skin elasticity.

    Coenzyme Q10
CoQ10 is a naturally occurring antioxidant in the body that helps energize skin cells and neutralize oxidative damage caused by environmental stress. In topical formulations, CoQ10 supports cellular repair and reduces the visible signs of aging.

    Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate
A stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C that penetrates deeply into the skin, this vitamin C ester provides powerful antioxidant protection while supporting collagen synthesis. It helps brighten skin tone, reduce hyperpigmentation, and defend against oxidative stress.

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Sorbitan Olivate, Squalane, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Resveratrol, Fisetin, Mixed Tocopherol, Ubiquinone, Ethyl Ferulate, Humulus Lupulus (Hop) Extract, Alkanna Tinctoria Root Extract

    1. Where does Senolytic Balm fit into my regimen?
Senolytic Balm is designed to be the final treatment step in your routine. When using a complete regimen, apply it after Emulsion. It can also be applied directly over Serum(s) or Oil as your final step.

    Recommended order of application:
    Rinse with water or Cleanse → Tonic/Mist → Serum(s) → Oil → Emulsion → Balm → Sunscreen (AM)

    2. Can Senolytic Balm be used in the morning?
Yes. Senolytic Balm can be used morning and night. In the morning, apply it as your final treatment step before sunscreen. In the evening, it is especially beneficial as the final step to help seal in preceding products and reduce overnight transepidermal water loss (TEWL), supporting lasting hydration and barrier function.

    3. Does Senolytic Balm replace other actives in my regimen, such as retinol or an emulsion?
No. Senolytic Balm is designed to complement, rather than replace, other Marie Veronique products. It can be used alongside retinoids, antioxidants, and emulsions, with no contraindications within a Marie Veronique regimen.

By supporting a healthier cellular environment, Senolytic Balm helps promote skin responsiveness and complements the role of other age-delay actives in your regimen. Like all of our formulas, it can be used daily or incorporated throughout the week according to what works best for your skin and routine.

    Key benefits

    ADDRESSES CELLULAR SENESCENCE

Takes a senotherapeutic approach to cellular senescence, a hallmark of aging, to help support healthier cell function and longevity.

    SUPPORTS SKIN STRUCTURE

Supports fibroblast function and collagen synthesis to help maintain the extracellular matrix—the structural network that contributes to skin firmness and resilience.

    DEFENDS AGAINST OXIDATIVE STRESS

Provides antioxidant protection against free radicals and environmental stressors that cause oxidative stress—cellular damage that can accelerate visible signs of aging.

    STRENGTHENS BARRIER FUNCTION

Replenishes essential lipids to reinforce the skin barrier and reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL), helping skin retain moisture and stay resilient.

    REPLENISHES DRY, DEPLETED SKIN

Delivers intensive lipid nourishment to dry, mature, and depleted skin, leaving it feeling deeply moisturized, plump, supple, and luminous.

    How to use

As the final step in your evening regimen, apply a generous, pea-sized amount to your face, neck, and chest after serums, oil, and emulsion. Gently massage any excess product around the eye contour, avoiding direct contact with the lash line or lid. Ideal for normal to dry or mature skin.

      Senolytic Series

As an esthetician, I'm always paying attention to how a product feels on the skin, and the The Senolytic Series has really impressed me. The serum has a beautiful, silky texture and feels like a concentrated dose of support for skin that's changing with time. And the balm has this incredibly buttery, melty texture that leaves the skin feeling deeply nourished and protected without feeling heavy.

I especially love the way the line supports that feeling of comfort and resilience that becomes so important as our skin changes. This beautiful and nourishing collection is absolutely in my daily rotation.

      Softest skin

The immediate results are that your skin feels incredibly soft and luminous. Soft is a funny word to describe skin, but the feeling is as though my skin is perfectly moisturized, nourished and springy. Side benefit - I especially like the way it feels around my lips. I notice when I put it on before bed my lips feel incredibly soft and hydrated all night. (Normal lip products you keep on your lips. Normal skincare you keep to your skin. With this product you can put it on both and it feels really comprehensive to support aging in that area with all the little cracks leading to the lip line.)

      Senolytic Balm

This is my new favorite balm!!! I absolutely love the texture and light scent. It’s perfect for the type of facial massage I do in my studio. With the change of season coming this is essential for fall/winter skin. As always Marie Veronique provides the best products for my clients and my treatment room!

      MV does it again!

As a spa owner and NP, I have tried it all. This formula not only feels amazingly nourishing going on, but in the month of using it,, my skin looks plumper, dewier and positively "airbrushed." This will certainly become a staple in my product line up; it feels calming, soothing and appears to help offset the hands of time showing up on my face. MV formulas are brilliant, but this is next level.

feedback on the Senolytic Serum and Balm

Thank you for inviting me to spend time with the Senolytic Serum and balm. I've been using them over the past few months alongside my soothing B3 serum and multi-retinol Night Emulsion, and have really enjoyed how the routine feels on my skin.

My skin is post-menopausal, a little cuperose through the cheeks , areas of hyperpigmentation, and a tendency to feel dry and dehydrated at the surface. What I've noticesd most is more consistent hydration. My skin feels less sensitive, and its tone and texture look more even. The balm, in particular, leaves my skin feeling so comfortable at the end of the evening :)

As an Esthetician who practices holistically, I'm drawn to an approach to aging that respects the skin as it changes and supports its resilience. I love that these formulas bring that sense of care together with thoughtful, forward- looking science. I'm especially interested in your choice to include fisetin and to explore what the emerging research on cellular senescence might mean for skin.

I appreciate Marie Veronique so much. The thought and integrity you and your team bring to your formulas are evident, and I feel honored to offer such a bespoke line to some of my dear clients. Thank for the opportunity to try these products and share my experience. I look forward to offering them soon in the shop. Best wishes, Christina Jett
