Microbiome-friendly + essential oil-free, this cleanser effectively removes debris, sunscreen and makeup without stripping the skin of its protective oils.

It reconceptualizes the meaning of deep cleansing. Rather than scrubbing at the surface, which merely dries the skin, it uses Omega-6 rich oils to penetrate to the origin of congestion, deep within the follicle. Utilizing the principle of “oils dissolve oils,” oil-based cleansers are the gentlest and most effective way to clean skin deeply and thoroughly. Low-suds surfactants are capable of effectively removing surface grime, debris and makeup, without robbing the skin of its surface protective oils. It supports proper barrier function by protecting the lipid barrier with antioxidants that inhibit lipid peroxidation, while the pre/ probiotic complex maintains microfloral balance.

This cleanser is free of ingredients that could impede the skin’s ability to maintain its own lipid, essential fatty acid and microbial balances. Biomimetic in design, it contains no essential oils, microcidal preservatives, or ethoxylated compounds.

Recommended use

Shake well. Dispense one pump and warm between palms. Using first three fingers, draw small circles over face/neck/chest for 1-2 minutes, adding water to create slip. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.

Obsessed
MV has seriously changed my skins life!!! I can’t get enough of it. This is by far hands down best cleanser ever even better paired up with the amazing serums and oils they offer! As a man I was a lil skeptical but I haven’t seen the bags under my eyes disappear in 20+ years!

Wonderful
Admittedly, it took me a while to figure out how to use this. Now I am hooked. Essentially, you (or at least I) need to start with dry hands and a dry face and rub in a circular motion for a minute or two until whatever is on your face begins to pill with the oil. Then you get a snowball effect and voila, everything is off and your face is hydrated and happy. When I use this in the shower, I don’t get the same traction and my skin remains oily and feels dirty. That’s my two cents—I’m officially converted!

My go to cleanser
This feels so silky smooth. I only use before bed (per Kristina's rec - just water in the morning). It cleans off the day and any makeup that I still have on. It doesn't dry out my skin or strip it of any of it's natural oils. So important!
