    ABOUT MARIE VERONIQUE

    Marie-Veronique Nadeau is a chemist who founded Marie Veronique in 2002. An inventor at heart who suffered from teenage acne, she was moved to create her own products when she could find nothing on the market that was clean and effective to address her rosacea. From there, she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare, determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She is a trained esthetician, holds degrees in Math and Science, and is a former high school chemistry teacher. She collaborates with her daughter, Jay Nadeau, physicist and bio-medical engineer, to carefully choose each ingredient in her products to solve real skin issues and address the causes of aging at the source.

    Ingredients

    VITAMIN C, VITAMIN E, FERULIC ACID COMBINATION  Ferulic acid is a potent plant antioxidant. In combination with Vitamins C and E, the overall level of sun protection when layered underneath a broad spectrum sunscreen is increased.

    TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE, STABILIZED ASCORBIC ACID COMBINATION. THD-ascorbate is an oil-soluble C derivative that converts to ascorbic acid and penetrates to the cell. Ascorbic acid is necessary for collagen production, so combining THD-ascorbate with stabilized l-ascorbic acid increases cellular activity, thus increasing collagen output.

    CO-ENZYME Q (CoQ10) A powerful antioxidant that aids in skin repair and regeneration.

    ASTAXANTHIN   A very powerful antioxidant from the carotenoid family that protects against long-wave radiation damage.

    Recommended use

      couldn't get over smell

      I wanted to love this so much, but I couldn't get over the hot dog smell. Truly was horrible. but the serum itself was great, made my skin super glowy and great, so I finished the bottle but will not be reordering.

      Must-have serum!

      I’ve been relying on Marie Veronique Vitamin C serum for the past 5 years. It’s the only serum to effectively address my hyperpigmentation. Will never go without it!

      THE GOAT

      I do a lot of research before buying a product (company, ingredients, reviews) … some reviews for this noted a strange smell similar to hot dogs, but others said the smell didn’t bother them, and the ingredients are stellar so I decided to try it.

      WOW WOW WOW!! Nothing was budging my postpartum hormonal redness, until THIS!!

      Adding this to my routine has delivered epic results.

      “Fragrance” is nothing I buy, so I’m used to earthy smells from my products. I will admit, this one is a little strange (hot dogs is a stretch but I can see why some people said that) the smell is hard to describe but not bad.

      And the product is SO GREAT, if it was hot dog juice delivering these results I’d still be slathering it on my face. (MV don’t change a thing!)

      I’m subscribing to this and staying stocked.

      I highly recommend!!!!

      Wonderful

      I said this in my review of the Barrier Repair Serum, but using that at night and the C E Ferulic in the morning has transformed my skin. My face was both very congested and very dry and after only a few weeks (following with simple oils--PM one with rosehip) my skin is baby soft and haven't had a single blemish. You know it works because it smells like the real deal (like nickles in the hand), which dissipates after a bit. By far the best natural vitamin C/antioxidant serum I've tried. (And it's better than THAT coveted one because it has all the good powerhouse ingredients without the harmful chemicals). Happy to have found such an effective pregnancy safe routine.
